I figured someone like Beelzebub, as soft as she is, wouldn’t really have things she dislikes so strongly. Obviously, there’s no person in this world that doesn’t have something that makes them tick.
I just figured it wouldn’t be something as small as the size of her heels.
Look at that kick! She’s so graceful ☺️
One day by some weird strike of chance, Beelzebub accidentally breaks the heel of her shoe. Tragic.
But nothing was more tragic then what happens afterwards…
Mullin made a couple failed attempts to carry Beelzebub to her office (in the most romantic ways we know how). Bridal-style didn’t work because he could clearly see her cleavage, and piggyback didn’t work due to the fact that he could feel her huge chest on his back. Honestly I was disappointed, but seeing how embarrassed both parties looked kind of made up for it!
They’re both way too shy and awkward to do any of the cliché romantic things together! At least we got a little glimpse of it.
We were also introduced to a new character!
This is the lady (I’m going to refer to them as lady since they called themselves as such) who’s in charge of Bee’s clothes. Seems like she has an interest in Mullin, most likely in terms of his relationship with Beelzebub and how close they really are. She quickly fixes Bee’s heels in time for the next day (and we never see her again).
Turns out, the main reason why Bee likes to wear heels so much is so that her face wouldn’t be so far from Mullin’s. She is tiny, after all.
It’s funny how the leader of Pandemonium is this small statured girl with an intense love for sweets and fluffy things… You’d expect her to be a hard-ass that shows no mercy. I’m pretty sure she’ll have at least one moment like that in the future, but for now I’ll choose to think of her as a little softie!
Another major, but more secret, dislike that was found in this episode was Bee’s strong dislike for lightning and thunder. She explains in the beginning how the Lord had struck a bright white light, which was used to banish her along with everyone else who’d sided with Lucifer, down into Hell after the war. This must have caused her great trauma to see even though she had descended into a place that she described as “more heavenly than Heaven itself”.
After taking her to an interview Mullin had left her in the courtyard to spend her free time however she chose. Everything was fine at first until the clouds became dark, and bam!
A flash of lightning rips through the sky! By the time Mullin finally found her, she was fearfully covering her ears under a gazebo.
I felt bad for her but I got too distracted by her cuteness, which I’m sure happened to Mullin as well…
There was literally no way for her to hide her fear after the display she put. But thank goodness Mullin was there to comfort her, which I’m sure she didn’t really get to have all the time. Sure, she has Azazel and Belphegor. But there’s no way they were there to comfort her during every thunder storm. In a way it’s like Beelzebub and Mullin were both lucky to be put in each other’s lives. Beelzebub was able to have an understanding friend she could be with all the time, and Mullin was able to spend time and get close with the person he’d seen as an idol. Unlike everyone else Mullin gets to see the real Beelzebub, which was something he’d reflected on during the episode.
(Pinky promises melt my heart)
I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops even more! Can’t believe I’m only halfway through this series.
Now, I’ve taken an ungodly amount of screenshots while watching this episode that I didn’t see a point in adding with what I’d written. So I’m just going to post them here for everyone to see!
Yes, they’re mainly screen caps of Beelzebub. Can you blame me? She’s too cute 😫
